BOTANICAL ILLUSTRATION for grade 3-5 [Winter Spring 2025 / Syosset]
The Botanical Illustration course is an advanced class designed for 3rd to 5th graders, introducing them to the art of drawing plants and flowers. Through observation, sketching, shading, and tinting with pencils and watercolors, students will learn the fundamentals of botanical illustration. This course aims to develop their creativity, attention to detail, and appreciation for nature. By the end of the course, students will have a well-organized sketchbook documenting their work, showcasing their ideas and artistic techniques.
